Paul Palmeri is Hands Creek Capital’s founder and managing partner. He is a seasoned derivatives trader with over 25 years of experience in commodity and equity markets.

Paul began his career on the floor of the New York Board of Trade in 1998, soon becoming one of the largest volume market makers of both Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice and Coffee Options. He was featured in Trader Monthly Magazine's "Top Trader's Under 30" List in 2005 and later went on to manage a hybrid team of floor traders and electronic market makers in Metals and Soft Commodities.

Paul holds a B.A. in political science and economics from Duke University and has spent much of the last decade developing, testing and trading S&P Index models and strategies as an independent trader. He currently resides in East Hampton, NY.
